Class Descriptions

LoveYoga Flow - Our "Signature" Vinyasa Flow class, designed to move your body, mind and spirit.  Dynamic classes that typically include sun salutations, standing, seated and inverted poses linked with ujjayi breath.  Each class vairies by level and instructor, but Vinyasa Flow Yoga derives influences from Ashtanga, Sivananda, Hatha and Jivamukti styles.  We reccomend new students or those looking for a more moderate pace begin with Vinyasa BASIC or Vinyasa Light clases.

Vinyasa Light - A "lighter" version of our "Signature" flow class.  Perfect for the beginner student, or for anyone looking for breath+movement+theme.  A PERFECT way to wind down after a busy day!  

Restorative Yoga - A restorative practice calms the nerves and recharges your batteries.  Supported by the use of props, poses are held for longer periods of time, allowing the body to fully relax and open.  In addition, conscious breathing - the direct link between your body and mind - is employed to move you ito deeper and deeper levels of relaxation.  As your body lets go of stress and the chatter of the mind quiets, you experience your peaceful, true self. 

Slow Burn - Some Like it HOT.  This class is for those of you who need a little more "TAPAS" in your practice.  In you have some serious stress to throw into the fire, and you are ready to slowly but intensely burn through the negativity that is holding you down, then this is your class!  Its slow, and spiritual and intense! 

Ashtanga Series
- The traditional Ashtanga Primary Series.  This is a 90 minute class.  If you are new to Ashtanga, please ask for information, or attend one of our "Intro to Ashtanga" workshops.  This class is open to all levels, but beginners CAN feel overwhelmed and the priority is YOUR COMFORT AND SAFETY.  Beginners are welcomed to the class, but asked to stay for the entire class, even if you cannot yet complete it.  "DO YOUR PRACTICE AND ALL IS COMING."

Mommy and Me Yoga - Bring your sweet baby and bond on your mat! This class is for babies 3-16 months. Mom will get some strenght, balance and core work, and baby will get to invert, interact, and begin building motor skills! 

LoveAcro - This ain't your mamas yoga class! LoveAcro is a dynamic fusion between the discipline and alignment principles of traditional yoga asana and the free and expressive exploration of acrobatics!  We explore the limits of our strength, play the edge of our boundries, and face our own "I can'ts" with loud music, choreographed sequences, partner work and alot of laughter.  Be prepared to sweat!

Yogalosophy - This is a free class and open to any and everyone.  In this class we discuss the philosophy of yoga and a yogic lifestyle.  We will work from a chosen text, and te book (not requred to attend the class, but helpful) is available in the LoveYoga shop.
